Lord Cudligton, a renowned time traveler and his ever so punctual assistant, mister Stripental have decided to pop to Late Devonian period and nab a prime specimen of Dunkleosteus to be presented at British Natural History museum in London.

I made this image as an entry for CG Boost Time Travel challenge where it won first place.

As a kid I had a book with prehistoric creatures. I remember a picture of a massive armored fish pictured next to a dump truck for size comparison. That fish was of course a Dunkleosteus. Cool, prehistoric sea monster and crazy steampunkish time travelers seamed appropriate for the time traveling theme.
